Elected National Delegate

to 2008 Republican Convention in Minnesota


Phoenix, AZ ¡V Kimberly Yee has been elected one of 50 delegates representing Arizona at the Republican National Convention on September 1-4, 2008 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a member of the Yee Fung Toy Family Association and is a native of Arizona.

Representing Arizona Congressional District 3 at the national convention, Yee was part of a GOP Unity Slate of candidates widely supported at the May state convention by the 987 attending state delegates, U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, Congressman John Shadegg, Congressman Trent Franks and State GOP Party Chairman Randy Pullen.

"It is such an honor to be a part of this wonderful democratic process."  Yee says, "To be given the opportunity to cast a critical vote to elect our next President of the United States is something I had only read about in political science books during college."

All delegates, including Yee, will have a seat on the convention floor and will cast their vote to nominate the Republican Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates for the 2008 Presidential election.

Yee serves as the Republican Chairman of Arizona Legislative District 10. She has a career in public policy and government, and has served the executive branch administrations of Arizona State Treasurer Dean Martin, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former California Governor Pete Wilson.

Earning her master's degree from Arizona State University in Public Administration, Yee is also a graduate of Pepperdine University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a bachelor's degree in English.

The 2008 Republican National Convention will be held at the Xcel Energy Center with an expected 45,000 in attendance. Millions of people around the world are expected to tune into their televisions to watch the 39th presidential nominating convention.
