Ring in the New Year with firecrackers, confetti, champagne and happy New Year wishes! The New Year brings with it a fresh start, new opportunities and an exhilarating sense of rejuvenation.

We often make New Year’s resolutions in an attempt to improve ourselves and to be better towards others. As we celebrate the New Year, the Yee Fung Toy Society of Edmonton Board and the Fung Toy Athletic Club members wish everyone success, a healthy long life and a fresh new start. Happy Lunar New Year of the Dragon!

參加余風采總堂一百二十週年慶典暨春節聯歡宴會

余國基理事長和余英華監事長於六月二十二日到達溫哥華參加余風采總堂一百二十週年慶典暨春節聯歡宴會。

中午參加余風采總堂一百二十週年祭祖儀式。晚上六時在華埠富大酒家舉行新春聯歡宴會，筵開二十席，場面熱鬧，氣氛愉快。

Edmonton YFT Board Director Supervisor Ying Hua and I attended the Canada YFT 120th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

We also attended the noon ancestor ceremony.

點問頓余風采堂舉行預祝聖誕聯歡活動

點問頓余風采堂今年的聖誕派對是在二○二四年十二月十四日（星期六）中午舉行的。像往常一樣，我們邀請了馬氏家族表親、義工、 太極班成員以及華人社區的一些長者。今年我們有超過一百二十位參與者，彼此互相交流。分享生活情趣、一團和 氣， 慶祝聖誕的來臨。

我們提供的飯盒裡有美味的燒肉、叉燒、香腸、豉油雞、蔬菜、米飯和麵條。參與者帶著愉快的回 憶和溫暖的社區精神離開，更爲每個參與者帶來了歡樂和彼此聯繫。

上面彩照右名譽主席余林晃，馬凱旋，馬瑞韶，馬修身幾位理事， 合影的這幾位都九十歲或上或下的了，又一次難得的聚會開懷笑敘，有詩見證：

世表情深到處見，
預祝聖誕來助興。
含笑合影心歡暢，
加深情誼年復年。

2024 Fung Toy Athletic Club Christmas Party

This year's Christmas Party was on Saturday 12/14/2024. As usual, we invited our Mah clan cousins, our volunteers over the years, our Taichi class members and some elders in the Chinese communities. No exception this year, we had over 120 participants and everyone had a chance of mingling with others.

There was a sense of community and togetherness as everyone smiles and shares stories and enjoys each other's company. Box lunches were provided with delicious roasted pig, BBQ pork, sausages, soya chicken, vegetable, rice and noodles.

Participants left with happy memories and a warm feeling of community spirit, a truly magical event that brought joy and connection to everyone involved..
