Celebrate Mid Autumn Festival
This year¡¦s Mid-Autumn Festival saw a
large turn-out of members ¡V a great way to bring the
generations together for a meaningful traditional
Chinese celebration. The weather was in our favor.
Our President addressed the members
and declared the celebration opened. The buffet spread
was scrumptious. So were the desserts and moon cakes.
After dinner, we had a lantern tour around the block.
The kids loved the lanterns and light-sticks, the
elderly loved the after meal walk. Back at the club,
there were games, riddle contest and lantern making
competition. There are lots of fun for everyone.

Columbus Yee Fung Toy
Association Celebrate Mid Autumn Festival
The Columbus Yee Fung Toy Association

The festival program include Stage
performances, children¡¦s games, riddles, raffle
drawing, folk dancing; solo singing, chorus, guzheng ,
Peking Opera, and the OSU student Folk Band.
And of course, the audience at the
event got a chance to sample the traditional Chinese
treat while celebrating the Mid Autumn Festival,
eating moon cakes and thinking of family members who
live far away.
Everyone went home happily.
The Columbus Yee Fung Toy Association

parents and students from the Ohio Chinese School, and

mailing and ordering catering service by the

locations. The current Management Committee was
introduced to the new members. New members likewise
did the same.
